GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The state Board of Higher Education has approved a new program for the University of North Dakota.
The UND School of Entrepreneurship is meant to help students gain hands-on experience with innovation and outreach. The program will be effective this fall.
School officials say about 900 students were enrolled in at least one class in the entrepreneurship department during the last school year. More than 400 of those were enrolled in at least two classes.
Only a handful of colleges in the country have similar programs.
