GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) - Gilbert police say two people have been critically injured after leading officers on a high-speed chase.

KPHO-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1kybdhM) police were dispatched early Sunday after several 911 callers reported a truck driving recklessly in a residential neighborhood, allegedly hitting a parked car.

Police say officers spotted the truck and attempted a traffic stop.



They say the driver then fled, running a red light before appearing to lose control.

Authorities say the truck rolled several times.

The driver and a passenger both are in critical condition in a hospital intensive care unit.

Police have not yet released the names of either.

The incident remains under investigation.
