CHERAW, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 14-year-old boy has died after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving was hit by a pickup truck on a Chesterfield County road.

Investigators say the boy was riding with his mother and brother Friday evening near their Cheraw home when he turned into the truck’s path.

State troopers are investigating the wreck.

Chesterfield County Coroner Kip Kiser refused to release the teen’s name because he is a minor.
