BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Authorities in southwest Idaho are investigating the theft of 220 bales of hay worth nearly $3,000.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office tells the Idaho Statesman (https://bit.ly/1igJzI4) the owner discovered the hay missing from a haystack on his property.
Police say the each bale weighs about 90 pounds so whoever took the hay likely used a truck and trailer.
Police say the theft occurred sometime between Jan. 12 and Jan. 26.
