Burn ban issued for Noxubee County

MACON, Miss. (AP) - Noxubee County has been placed under a burn because of recent dry weather in the area.

WTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1flXgV3 ) the order was issued by the Mississippi Forestry Commission at the request of the county Board of Supervisors.

Officials say outdoor burning will be prohibited until Feb. 14.
