DENVER (AP) - Avalanche warnings and watches have been posted for the mountains in central Colorado.
The Colorado Avalanche Information Center says warnings are in effect until Saturday morning for the Steamboat and Flat Tops, Aspen, Vail and Summit County, Gunnison, Sawatch Range and the Front Ranges.
The Grand Mesa and northern and southern San Juans are under an avalanche watch.
The area received up to 2 feet of snow this week.
