SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - A 38-year-old Sparks man has died from injuries he suffered when he was struck by an SUV while crossing McCarran Boulevard in east Sparks.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says he was crossing McCarran at Nichols Boulevard north of Interstate 80 at about 7 p.m. Wednesday when he was struck by a Ford Explorer.
The patrol says the driver of the SUV, 42-year-old Sean Bardin, is cooperating with investigators.
It’s not yet clear if the victim was using a crosswalk.
