BATESVILLE, Miss. (AP) - A Courtland man will be sentenced Feb. 6 after being convicted this past week in Panola County of capital murder.

Prosecutors say a jury convicted Christopher Thomas of capital murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in the fatal shooting of Tovell Henderson. They say Henderson died of multiple gunshot wounds on May 3, 2013.

Ladaron Cortez Taylor and Quendravious Davonta Taylor, also of Courtland, were also indicted in the case for conspiracy to commit armed robbery and capital murder.

A fourth man, Deshaun Montrell Alexander of Batesville, was indicted for aiding the three men in avoiding arrest following the crime.

All three have court appearances pending.
