MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Preliminary damage estimates from a fire this week at a production facility in Madison are $1 million to $2 million.
A building at Windsor Buildings Systems was destroyed by fire Tuesday. Investigators say the fire apparently started in a maintenance room.
Windsor makes wooden trusses and other building components.
Madison Fire Department spokeswoman Lori Wirth tells the State Journal (https://bit.ly/1dQsPlx ) there’s no evidence the fire is suspicious in nature. Agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the state Department of Justice are assisting Madison fire investigators.
