Man, 82, charged with sexually abusing teen

WINSTON, Ore. (AP) - Police in Winston, Ore., have arrested an 82-year-old man accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl.

KVAL.com reports (https://is.gd/ZykiN4 ) Verl Roger Whitehead was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Douglas County Jail on charges of second-degree sexual abuse.

The alleged abuse occurred in recent months.

Bail was set at $150,000.
