SALISBURY, Md. (AP) - An 18-year-old has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for the fatal shooting of a man and the attempted robbery of another teenager in Salisbury.

Gerard Williams Jr. of Salisbury was sentenced Tuesday in Wicomico County Circuit Court.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports (https://delmarvane.ws/1cshlZW) that Williams was convicted in November of first-degree felony murder and 16 other offenses in the shooting death of 23-year-old Andres Aguilera and the attempted robbery of a 16-year-old.



Williams, who was 17 at the time of the crimes, was charged as an adult.
