LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) - Authorities in Livingston Parish say a curfew will be in effect Tuesday night and Wednesday morning as snow and freezing rain move into the area.

Sheriff Jason Ard says the curfew will be enforced from 11 p.m. Tuesday through 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Ard says motorists in the parish just east of Baton Rouge should stay off roadways, except essential personnel and first responders.

Ard says bridges in the parish are expected to become impassable.
