BASTROP, La. (AP) - A West Carroll Parish resident is dead following an accident on a recreational vehicle in rural Morehouse Parish.
Sheriff Mike Tubbs tells The News-Star (https://tnsne.ws/M49Wp6 ) 22-year-old Shelbie Linn Brown, of Pioneer, was riding an ATV when she lost control about 9 p.m. Saturday.
Witnesses say the vehicle flipped at least once, ejecting Brown. There were no other passengers.
Tubbs said Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
