ROANOKE, Va. (AP) - Thirty organizations across Virginia have been awarded grants to improve Virginians’ oral health.

The Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation said Monday that it awarded a total $716,000 in grants to oral health organizations and educational institutions.

The foundation says the grants will provide funding for free and community-based health clinics and dental safety net programs, public oral health education initiatives and dental curricula at Virginia universities.
