PERRY, Okla. (AP) - No damage was reported after an earthquake hit near Perry late Sunday.
According to a preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.8-magnitude quake struck at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. The quake’s epicenter was 4 miles south-southwest of Perry and 16 miles west-northwest of Stillwater.
The USGS says the earthquake had a depth of 3.1 miles.
Earlier in the day Sunday, a 3.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded near Wetumka in Hughes County.
