WIKIEUP, Ariz. (AP) - An accident involving a tractor-trailer rig carrying pipes has resulted in a partial closure of U.S. 93 south of Interstate 40.
The state Department of Public Safety says the Monday morning accident closed the highway’s northbound lanes near Wikieup (WICK’-e-up), but the Department of Transportation reports that one of the northbound lanes is now open.
The Arizona Republic (https://bit.ly/1eslRUV ) reports that the driver was flown to a hospital for treatment of injuries described as serious.
