MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Some Minnesota schools will remain closed Tuesday because of the dangerously cold weather.

Minneapolis, St. Paul and Anoka-Hennepin school districts announced their closings Monday. Schools in the Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Duluth and St. Cloud Area districts also will be closed Tuesday.

The University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus canceled Tuesday morning classes. Classes will resume at noon Tuesday.



The Giants Ridge ski area in Biwabik will be closed for a second straight day Tuesday due to the arctic cold.

The National Weather Service issued a wind chill warning statewide through noon Tuesday.
