GATES, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say they’re investigating the suspicious death of a 58-year-old man whose body was found in a room at a suburban Rochester motel.
Police in the Monroe County town of Gates say officers were called to the Motel 6 on Buell Road around 11:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a person not responding.
When officers arrived, they found that a Rochester man had died in the room. Police are calling the circumstances surrounding his death suspicious.
Police are awaiting autopsy results from the county medical examiner’s office on the cause of death and identification of the man.
No other information has been released.
