ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a southern New Jersey man was driving drunk when he crashed into a pub where he had just been denied service because he appeared to be intoxicated.

The Press of Atlantic City (https://bit.ly/1gjYBPH) reports 50-year-old Donald Preston Jr. of Pleasantville had arrived at the Irish Pub in Atlantic City just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Surveillance videos showed Preston left after he was denied service and got into a sport utility vehicle that minutes later crashed through the pub wall.

Officials have not said how many people were inside the pub at the time, but no one appeared to be hurt.

It was not clear if Preston suffered any injuries in the accident.
