BAKER CITY, Ore. (AP) - A Baker City man who accidentally shot himself in the upper leg has been arrested.
District Attorney Matt Shirtcliff told the Baker City Herald (https://is.gd/xbZkan ) that 23-year-old Eric Lee Cavyell was booked into the Baker County Jail on a felony warrant charging him with violating his parole. He says his office will also file a charge of felon in possession of a firearm.
Cavyell was in an open shed in a side yard at his home when he shot himself. He was flown to a Boise hospital and remained there for more than a week.
