ALBANY, Ga. (AP) - A south Georgia coroner’s office has identified a man who was killed in a fire over the weekend.

Dougherty County Coroner Michael Fowler says 76-year-old Eddie King died when his two-story house in East Albany caught on fire Saturday night.

WALB-TV (https://bit.ly/1iAYKhQ ) reports that five people - including a 4-year-old child - escaped from the fire uninjured.



The cause of the fire is under investigation.
