RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) - Police on Long Island are investigating after seven cars were discovered with windshield and window damage.

Police say the vandalism may have been caused by a pellet gun.

Newsday (https://bit.ly/19WVLND ) reports that the cars were parked along Green Street, Kirby Lane and Second Street in South Jamesport.



Riverhead police say the damage was discovered early Sunday.
