ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) - Two people are hospitalized after a fire at a mobile home in St. Charles.
The blaze was reported just before 11 a.m. Monday at the Elm Point mobile home park. KMOV-TV (https://bit.ly/1btblM6 ) reports that a man and a woman are hospitalized with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. The mobile home was a total loss.
Neighbors say the couple owned about a half-dozen exotic birds, and all were apparently killed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
