MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - A 28-year-old Missoula man has died after a horse trailer disconnected from a pickup and crossed the centerline where it collided with a passenger vehicle.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the crash in Glacier County occurred about 11 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 2 near Browning.

Police say the trailer struck a 2006 Chrysler 300 on the passenger side, killing the man sitting there. He was pronounced dead at the scene.



Police say the driver of the pickup is a 59-year-old man from Browning who was also injured.
