WILSON, N.C. (AP) - A man has been charged in the death of a 22-year-old Wilson woman found dead inside a home.
Police say 28-year-old Eric Devon Hooker was arrested Friday night and charged with first-degree murder.
Authorities say the body of Courtney Caitlyn Rea was found at around 3 p.m. Thursday. No other information about her death has been released, but police say that Hooker is the father of Rea’s newborn child.
Hooker was in jail Sunday, and it wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney.
