OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Champion bull Bushwacker got the best of nemesis J.B. Mauney once again.

Mauney was bucked off in 1.13 seconds in the last ride of Saturday night’s Professional Bull Riders 15/15 Bucking Battle at Chesapeake Energy Arena. The bull improved to 11-1 against the reigning world champion.

Bushwacker’s owner, Julio Moreno, said this week he’s retiring the 8-year-old at the end of the season.

Mauney is the last cowboy to successfully ride Bushwacker. He did it in Tulsa in August when his 8-second ride ended Bushwacker’s streak of 42 consecutive buckoffs dating to 2009.

Mauney still claimed Round 2 of the event with an 87-point ride aboard Jared Allen’s H4WW Hy Test. He’s fifth overall heading into the final day of the event.
