CLEAR LAKE, Iowa (AP) - A pickup that broke through the ice on Clear Lake and sank has been pulled from the icy waters a week after the accident.
The truck was pulling an ice-fishing shack off the lake when it broke through the ice on Jan. 17. The driver and a passenger escaped unharmed.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1aydY4O) that a Spirit Lake towing company removed the truck and ice shack from the lake on Friday.
