WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - The Worcester chapter of the nation’s largest and oldest civil rights group is pressing ahead with efforts to explore and address youth issues.
The Worcester NAACP is scheduled to hold a general membership meeting on Monday during which the guest speaker is expected to continue his discussion on youth employment.
The Worcester NAACP is also set to hold its first Youth Empowerment Series on Feb. 3. That event, titled “Know Your Right,” will take place at the Worcester Youth Center and will focus on what the youth should do if they are stopped by police.
