CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Wildlife officials are investigating after a mule deer was illegally shot and a fawn was hit by a car near Baggs.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says a two-point buck was found shot in the back near Poison Basin Road on Jan. 3. It was crippled and had to be euthanized.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/19UU6bt ) a dead fawn that had been hit by a vehicle and pulled off the road was found in the same area, and investigators want to know if the two deaths are related.
