CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (AP) - A woman accused of striking and killing a dentist biking in western Wisconsin has pleaded guilty.

Twenty-seven-year-old Krista Holler of Cadott entered the plea to one count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle in the death of Robert Tschabrun (SHAH’-brun). The dentist was struck and killed last June while riding his bike near Stanley. A passer-by discovered the body of the 71-year-old man in a ditch along with an abandoned car.

WQOW-TV (https://bit.ly/1itoQU9 ) reports investigators said Holler had been drinking at a tavern before she struck the victim.

Three other counts were dismissed as a result of Holler’s plea, but will be read into the record when she’s sentenced April 10. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
