BOYERTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania are investigating the death of a woman apparently gunned down in front of her home.

The Reading Eagle (https://bit.ly/LQZqlf ) reports that Berks County officials identified the victim as 48-year-old Louisa Krenzel, who lived on a rural road in Pike Township.

District Attorney John Adams said Krenzel’s body was found Wednesday night and her death had been ruled a homicide.

Troopers responding to a 911 call found the victim’s body in the driveway outside the garage with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
