CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia Secretary of State Natalie Tennant is officially a candidate for U.S. Senate.
Tennant filed her candidacy papers Friday morning at her office in the state Capitol in Charleston. The Democrat announced her candidacy in September.
She’s seeking to fill the Senate seat being vacated by the retiring Jay Rockefeller.
Republican U.S. Rep. Shelley Moore Capito filed her candidate papers in the Senate race on Thursday.
