Suspect in Newark, Del. slaying arrested in PA

NEWARK, Del. (AP) - New Castle County Police say a man suspected of fatally shooting another man in Newark has been arrested in Philadelphia.

Officers say 23-year-old Corey Harrell of Newark was arrested Thursday. He is awaiting extradition to Delaware.

Authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Harrell in December for the slaying of 19-year-old Darby Ford of Philadelphia on Nov. 18.

Police say Ford was found dead of a gunshot wound at the Autumn Park Apartments.
