FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - A man has been arrested in Fresno County on suspicion of opening fire on a vehicle, chasing the driver home and then shooting into the house.
Sheriff’s officials tell the Fresno Bee (https://bit.ly/1ejREHA) the incident began around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Fresno when the victims’ vehicle struck 20-year-old Richard Chase Douglass’ car, which was parked at a gas station.
Douglass and at least two other unidentified suspects allegedly began to chase the victims and shoot at them.
The chase ended at a home, where more shots were fired and the windows of a vehicle were broken out with a baseball bat. Nobody was hurt.
Sheriff’s spokesman Chris Curtice says Douglass was later arrested and booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an inhabited dwelling and exhibiting a firearm in a threatening manner.
