ATLANTA (AP) - Freezing temperatures complicated work for firefighters trying to put out a large blaze at a Dunwoody apartment complex.
DeKalb firefighters were called to the Dunwoody Cross Apartments on Thursday for a report of heavy smoke and flames.
Fire Capt. Eric Jackson told WSB-TV (https://bit.ly/1hsPlp3 ) that seven units were damaged by the fire. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Firefighters said the water they sprayed quickly turned to ice. One person received treatment for a medical condition at the scene, but authorities said it was not related to the fire.
