CODY, Wyo. (AP) - Sheriff’s officials in Park County plan to put cadaver dogs to work this weekend to try to sniff out and find the head and one arm missing from a corpse that was found.

Authorities are still trying to identify the dead man. A duck hunter and his son found the headless, one-armed corpse Jan. 9 in a remote area northwest of Powell.

An autopsy determined the man probably was killed Jan. 7.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1e2vblU) unfavorable weather has prevented the use of cadaver dogs.

Investigators suspect the victim was a farm or ranch worker. They describe him as a stocky, physically fit, white or light-skinned Hispanic male.

They say he was about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 180 to 200 pounds and no more than 35 years old.
