BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Gov. Bobby Jindal proposed a $25 billion budget for the 2014-15 fiscal year that begins July 1. According to the Jindal administration, the dollars would be divvied up to:
-Human resources (mainly health care): 40.4 percent.
-Education: 30.4 percent.
-Public safety: 10.8 percent.
-Business and infrastructure: 9.3 percent.
-General government: 6.7 percent.
-Environment and natural resources: 2.4 percent.
