TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County authorities say a second teenager wanted in a carjacking and kidnapping in Tucson is in custody.
County Sheriff’s officials say the 17-year-old boy is expected to face charges of unlawful means of transport, theft of means of transport, armed robbery, aggravated robbery, burglary and two counts of kidnapping in connection with a carjacking.
Earlier this week, a 16-year-old boy turned himself in to authorities.
The teens’ names are being withheld because they are juveniles.
Sheriff’s officials say the two boys are suspected of kidnapping a 54-year-old woman on Nov. 29 as she was putting gasoline in her vehicle at a convenience store.
The woman was released about two miles from the convenience store. The teens took off in her car, which was later found abandoned in a wash.
