CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - A former Keswick scout troop leader has pleaded guilty to three dozen sex charges involving members of his troop.

Media outlets report that 50-year-old David Brian Watkins is scheduled to be sentenced April 25. The plea agreement recommends a 30-year, five-month prison sentence.

Watkins pleaded guilty Wednesday in Albemarle County Circuit Court to 36 felony counts of carnal knowledge of a child between the ages of 13 and 15.

Watkins led Keswick Troop 1028 from 2002 to 2008. He admitted to abusing three scouts between 2006 and 2009.
