COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A construction worker is dead after a fire escape he was standing on broke loose and crashed to the ground.
Colorado Springs authorities say the worker fell 15 to 20 feet on Wednesday. He died before he could be taken to the hospital.
Authorities say the man was working on a roofing project.
The victim’s name has not been released.
