SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (AP) - Two people were arrested on drug charges after police say they crashed their Jaguar into a street post at South Lake Tahoe.
The Reno Gazette-Journal (https://on.rgj.com/LW58Ty ) reports South Lake Tahoe police were first called to a report Monday of a Jaguar sedan driving off Lake Tahoe Boulevard and hitting a fence and street post.
Officers found the car moments later in a nearby church parking lot.
A police drug dog was used to help search the vehicle. Officers say more than 12 ounces of methamphetamine was found.
Police arrested 22-year-old Marleni Fuentes-Perez of San Mateo, Calif., and 28-year-old Jesus Cruz-Torres on charges of transportation of meth, hit and run and conspiracy.
