BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota has reported its first flu death of the season.
Jill Baber with the state Department of Health says the person was a woman in her 30s from the northeast part of the state.
Baber says the woman had other medical conditions and didn’t get a shot.
She died of the most common strain, influenza A, which has sickened nearly 1,600 North Dakotans this year.
The Health Department says it’s not too late to get a flu vaccine.
