RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The Oglala Sioux Tribe says it’s organizing a conference to oppose the Keystone XL Pipeline.
Tribe vice president Tom Poor Bear says it will be held Feb. 13-14 at the Rapid City Ramkota Inn.
The conference is entitled “Help Save Mother Earth From The Keystone Pipeline.”
The $7 billion pipeline would carry oil from western Canada to refineries in Texas.
