HOOKSETT, N.H. (AP) - Is New Hampshire a “red” state, “blue” state, or swing state?

Political science professor Dante Scala of the University of New Hampshire is discussing insights from his research on the state’s changing political landscape, the impact of demographic shifts on the electorate and what it means for key state races in 2014.

He’s speaking Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at a talk sponsored by the New Hampshire AFL-CIO at the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 131 in Hooksett.

The talk is free to the public.
