BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - Detectives have arrested a Mount Vernon man who is suspected in 25 business burglaries along the Interstate 5 corridor from Arlington to Bellingham.
Police say they arrested 44-year-old Douglas Leif Jones on Tuesday at the home of an acquaintance in Bellingham.
The burglary spree began in August and the break-ins were similar.
Police say they are familiar with Jones because he was previously arrested in March 2013 when he was suspected of 20 other burglaries.
