MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - U.S. marshals have arrested a man in Manchester, N.H., who was being sought in connection with two armed robberies in Massachusetts.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force from both states arrested 29-year-old Jeffrey Leonard on Tuesday. He was wanted by both the Yarmouth and Dennis, Mass., police departments on outstanding warrants for armed robbery with a firearm.

Information developed by the task force led investigators to New Hampshire, where Leonard was originally from and had a previous conviction for another armed robbery.

Leonard has been charged as a fugitive from justice and was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer.
