Man shot in head, crashes into Fla. restaurant

MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) - A man with a gunshot to the head was found in a pickup truck that crashed through a Melbourne restaurant.

The crash happened Tuesday evening at That Little Restaurant.

Florida Today (https://on.flatoday.com/1dTM81G ) reports no patrons were injured.

Officials say they first thought the man had suffered injuries in the crash. Then they discovered he’d been shot in the head.

Melbourne police are investigating.

Officials say a building inspector will examine the restaurant to make sure the structure is safe.
