LACEY, Wash. (AP) - Police in Lacey, Wash., are investigating the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old man in a car at an apartment complex.

Police Cmdr. Jim Mack said the man was shot about 5 p.m. Wednesday. Detectives were interviewing residents of the College Glen Apartments to try to gather information about the shooting.

The victim was not immediately identified.



The Olympian reports (https://is.gd/yOWBcc ) that Mack says responding officers pulled the victim from the car and tried to give him CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mack did not speculate on a possible motive or release any information about a possible suspect.

Lacey is near Olympia.
