Investigators seek cause of ship fire in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Norfolk fire officials are investigating a small fire that broke out on a ship at a shipyard.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue tells media outlets that the fire occurred around 5:45 a.m. Wednesday at Colonna Shipyard. There were no injuries.

Firefighters extinguished the fire on the ship’s exterior.
