BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) - Two Phoenix-area women had been arrested on suspicion of drug charges in a prison contraband case involving heroin.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office says 70-year-old Jennie Diaz Osuna of Phoenix was entering the Kingman state prison complex to visit a relative when the alarm on a metal detector went off.

The Sheriff’s Office says a pat-down search found heroin in a bundle wrapped in aluminum and plastic wrap.

The other woman arrested in the weekend incident was identified as 51-year-old Susan Claire Anderson of Avondale. The Sheriff’s Office says she and Osuna traveled together to visit their sons.

It’s not immediately clear whether the women have lawyers.
